Vauxhall Zafira A to us.
It replaced the Sintra that sold between 1996-99 and just didn’t sell, the Zafira sold far better.

I don’t recall many issues with the Zafira A. The vast majority of these were 1.6 and 1.8, much fewer 2.0 +.
I know there was an issue with the Zafira B, I think it was the auto air con but could of been the manual air con, kept catching fire. 161 car fires, 67 confirmed as being ca used by the fault.

Oo, a 2.2 mannnuel in purple I shall take. (I’m American, we didn’t get these) Closest I can think
that’s like this for us would be first gen (USDM) Honda Fits which came in a bitchin’ orange.

Very few were 2.2. As an example, here’s what Autotrader has for engine sizes and how much you can get them for.
The Zafira B was sold next to the Zafira Tourer for a while, so they dropped the price of the B by about 50%. So a colleague who had her car pack on. Within a few minutes she was driving herself home in a 2015 red Zafira B in red.

extremes of Zafira pricing from c arsales.com.au dearest and cheapest. note the description in the cheapest one
Holden never sold Zafira B here, and Zafira C was sold here as an Opel

Ye’, I can’t see anyone paying those upper end prices for a Zafira A.
You didn’t get the Zafira B, so you didn’t get the Zafira VXR.
Which got the same 240bhp 2.0 engine from the Astra VXR

Ooooh, the Opel Firelighter! One of those was driven in to my nearest shopping centre. It didn't go well. Place is still being rebuilt a year on.

This is a minivan. Similar in size and use as a Mazda 5.

Wow, they look smaller. I do quite like Mazda 5s, though. Yet I’ve seen like...two in my entire life.
